Artist's Comments

sculpted last weekend at HerbstCon. A bit choppy because I didnt have my rubbing alcohol with me.
These are casting prototypes. Please note that I have no idea when I can/will cast them and how much they will be. They are basically just using boredom and wishing for fingertainment for something creative and possibly lateron useful. At the back you can see the old rejected Hippogryph design

supersculpey, fimo soft, a mix of supersculpey and fimo soft or pottery clay. This one is Super Sculpey. FOund and American craft stores or online. A bit costy though (8$ per pound?)
:iconzuvelioke:
I want to start sculpting but I've used only the clay that dries in open air. Are these ones (fimo, supersculpey) better?

Sorry for bothering you, just wanted to know.

definitly. Polymers (fimo/sculpey) dont dry and take details better (airdry tends to crumble) and they are a bit more durable because they dont shrink and dont develope cracks that easy. Hope that helps
:iconzuvelioke:
thank you, you really helped me
