my boyfriend took some better pictures of the whole gang. These are casted in normal plaster and colored in acrylics. Coloration and casting has been done in different ways, so there are subtle differences in their appearance. Silver was casted in a slightly lightpurple, the spotted one was casted in a dark gray and ginger was pure white casting.
This is my first real try at casting with silicone and not latex. I sculpted the original in clay and its about 13 cm high. I have 3 more blanks and the mold with me (plus plaster for another five) but I am not certain what I will do out of these yet. I am however selling the spotted one, the ginger one and maybe also the silver one (Munkgryph, named after his pattern-giver Munkustrap) to get more money for future castings. So far the cost has been supported by school. I will ebay them (I will note it here) and starting bit is 30 bucks. |
